The Alliance for Jewish Early Education is a network of state and national organizations, institutions and philanthropies that are currently addressing issues related to the Jewish education of young children and their families. Their website offers resources and toolkits for parents, teachers, and program directors, as well as relevant research papers and contact information.

 


Among the resources available on the site:

 

  • Early Childhood Jewish School Startup Tool Kit -
    a collaborative resource framed by a group of early childhood Jewish professionals, from all over the US.
  • The Jewish Early Childhood Association (JECA) of Greater New York Journal – 2010 – Mitzvot
    This publication promotes child-centered early childhood Jewish education that integrates the Judaic and secular curricula. All of the articles reflect accepted early childhood best practice and accurate Jewish foundations. This issue focuses on the concept of mitzvot.
  • The JECA Journal – 2011 – Innovations in Early Childhood Jewish Education
  •   A Parent's Guide to Choosing a Jewish Early Childhood Program -
    developed by the Alliance for Jewish Early Education to encourage Jewish parents to choose Jewish early childhood programs for their children and to guide parents in recognizing excellence in their community’s schools.
