Applications for the Natan/Birthright Israel NEXT Grants for Social Entrepreneurs are now being accepted! Birthright Israel alumni and their peers are eligible to apply for up to $10,000 from Natan to support innovative, ongoing projects that create vibrant communities among young Jewish adults.

 

About the Natan/Birthright Israel NEXT Grant for Social Entrepreneurs

 

Birthright Israel NEXT aims to enable young Jewish adults to create their own cultural or educational programs and initiatives that connect them to other Jews and the larger Jewish community. To that end, Natan has partnered with Birthright Israel NEXT to create the Natan/Birthright Israel NEXT Grants for Social Entrepreneurs. This joint venture provides young Jewish adults who are budding social entrepreneurs with grant opportunities for long-term initiatives and ongoing programs.

 

The Natan/Birthright Israel NEXT Grants for Social Entrepreneurs will award grants of up to $10,000 for ongoing programs that create vibrant Jewish communities.

 

Before you apply, please confirm that you meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • You are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • You are 18-30.
  • Your proposed project has Jewish content and is intended to engage individuals who self-identify as Jewish.
  • You are NOT an employee of Birthright Israel NEXT, Inc., Birthright Israel Foundation, Birthright Israel North America, or Natan, nor are you a part of the immediate family of an employee of any of these organizations. “Immediate family” includes only spouses, parents, siblings, and children.

Completed applications bust be submitted no later than 2:00 pm EST on Friday, December 23rd, 2011.
