In the tradition of Edcamps worldwide, we are holding JEDcamp Los Angeles, an unconference for educators who work with Jewish students in all settings from preschool through college, formal to informal. Attendees come, choose the topics that they are passionate about, and collaborate and learn together. JEDcampLA is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 22nd 2015 at 12:30-5pm at Emek Hebrew Academy.

Here’s what you will find at a JEDcamp: All kinds of educators- early childhood, religious schools, day schools, general studies, PE and Special Ed, media specialists, etc. Everyone will be networking all day. There will be no solicitations or fees. Attendees will vote on the topics of the day in the morning. Adjustments will be made as needed. There will be no pre-set topic or prepared lecture. You will be encouraged to “vote with your feet“. During any session, if you want to try a different session, go ahead and move around. Everyone is teacher and learner.
