Yad Vashem has inaugurated an educational channel on YouTube, one of the internet's most popular video sharing sites. The channel, intended for the Anglophone audience, contains testimonies from Holocaust survivors, archival footage, historical lecturers and stories on issues of human interest such as survivors' reunions.

The Channel contains a number of playlists including:

  • Surviving the Holocaust
  • Virtual Tours of the Yad Vashem Complex
  • Yad Vashem: A Place of International Encounter

Visitors to the site may view videos, add their comments to the videos, share them via email or subscribe to the channel in order to be informed about new videos added to the channel.

The channel aims to counter the plethora of misinformation and deliberate lies about the Holocaust available on the Internet.
