Akhlah: The Jewish Children's Learning Network provides free resources for children, parents and educators to learn about Judaism, Torah, Israel, Hebrew, Jewish traditions, and Jewish heroes through worksheets, activities, quizzes, coloring pages and more. This is a comprehensive and non-sectarian knowledge-base of Jewish learning presented in a friendly and joyful way.
Akhla was created to provide Jewish children and their families access to the prayers, stories and rituals that have bound Jews together around the world and through the ages. It is specifically designed for the youngest and least knowledgeable, while maintaining scrupulous attention to the details of the subject matter.

Akhla does not subscribe to any of the branches of Judaism, but celebrates them all. It provides information about the traditions and practices of all the major branches of Judaism.
It is made up of the following sections:

  • The Children's Parsha
  • Jewish Holidays for Children
  • Learn about Israel
  • Learn Hebrew with Akhla
  • Jewish Heroes
  • Jewish Traditions

The materials on the site include crafts, activities, worksheets and email newsletters.
As part of its educational philosophy, Akhla does not allow banners or other forms of advertising.
