StorahLAB is Storahtelling’s annual summer training institute for Jewish educators, now in its third year.

The centerpiece of StorahLAB is the comprehensive curriculum called the “Cool Tool for School” which uncovers the Storahtelling methodology by making the ancient technology of dramatic Torah translation and interpretation accessible to learners through engaging experiential methods and practices. Participants are trained by Storahtelling expert faculty to apply and integrate the “Cool Tool” in their specific educational settings.

StorahLAB is designed for educators and/or education directors who are interested in new, theatrically based experiential approaches to teaching ancient and sacred texts.
This year, StorahLAB will be held at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, in collaboration with the Institute for Informal Jewish Education’s BIMA between July 14 – 20, 2008.
