24 Hours of Chesed
Source: Areyvut
No matter where you live, what your personal beliefs are or whom you interact with on a day-to-day basis, it is clear that the world needs more kindness. We need ways to appreciate one another and to actively help make the world a better, nicer, more compassionate place.
On Sunday, April 2, Areyvut invites schools, synagogues, families, community organizations and individuals to fill the day with kindness. Areyvut is a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower people to infuse their lives with the core Jewish values of chesed (kindness), tzedakah (charity) and tikkun olam (social justice). We are asking organizations and individuals to commit to service programs and acts of kindness at specific times so that on April 2 we can facilitate kindness continuously for an entire 24 hour period.
We offer you four ways to be involved in this unbelievable kindness opportunity. You can participate, plan, partner and pledge.
