Registration for the US Chidon Ha’Tanach 2018 is live! Please make sure that your school completes the following link in order to ensure that you receive important Chidon communications over the course of the year. The Chidon has three divisions: a Hebrew Middle School Division, Hebrew High School Division, and an English Division. Private registration for individual participants is an available option as well.

Over the course of last year, over four hundred fifty contestants from around the county participated in the US Chidon Ha’Tanach. In May, we invited 180 qualifying contestants to attend the Chidon Ha’Tanach National Finals. More schools and kids continue to participate in this ever-expanding program.

The Jewish Agency sends preliminary exams to schools during the school year (from December to March). On the basis of those preliminary exams, we invite high scorers to the national finals in New York in May. Four champions from the contest in New York win the opportunity to represent the USA in the subsequent year’s International Contest in Jerusalem, which is nationally televised in Israel on Yom Haatzmaut (Israeli Independence Day).
