The Leadership Project at Oranim College is a unique, month-long (June 30-July 28, 2019), academic summer program that offers students the opportunity to experience the real Israel, in all its complexity and nuance, while studying Israeli history, society and leadership with top professors. Academic credit is available.

The Leadership Project is located in the beautiful, multi-cultural Galilee, which presents many occasions to interact with people of diverse backgrounds who make up Israeli society, including Jews, Arabs, Christians, Muslims, Druze, and Bedouins. Students will gain the knowledge and practical skills necessary to present Israel in a personal, positive, and realistic light and to speak up if and when faced with anti-Semitism.

Numerous field study trips, excursions and volunteer experiences to different parts of the country provide students with a first-rate tourist experience as well as a close-up look at some of the remarkable individuals and endeavors that hold the secret to Israel's creativity, survival, and resilience. The program welcomes undergraduate and graduate students, as well as individuals who do not need academic credit for their participation.

Oranim International School brings students, educational practitioners, and scholars from around the world in order to study, teach, and research in the spirit of Oranim’s values: educational innovation and leadership combined with academic excellence, sensitivity towards individual differences and cultural diversity, strengthening personal identity, and accepting collective responsibility.
