-
Pesach Resource Pack.
-
Your “Four Sons” - The Haggadah passage about the Four Sons has been a source of inspiration for illustrators of Haggadot over the centuries. In this activity students will design their own illustration of the Four Sons after exploring Haggadot from the National Library collections.
-
Getting Rid of the Chametz Source Sheet - In preparation for Pesach (Passover), families clean their homes in order to remove all of the chametz (leavened bread). In order to better understand this mitzvah, in this Sefaria source sheet we will look at sources from the Torah, Mishnah, and Mishneh Torah, examine drawings of families in Amsterdam and Frankfurt, and read an excerpt from the oral history of a woman who grew up in Mukachevo, Czechoslovakia.
-
What’s YOUR Exodus Story Source Sheet - In this Sefaria source sheet, we will look at three groups of people who saw the Exodus story as inspiration and hope during their own quest for freedom. At the end, you will have an opportunity to share how you connect to the Exodus story.
- Let My People Go Resource Pack - Uncover the meaning of the slogan "Let My People Go" which was used by the Soviet Jewry movement during its struggle to pressure the Soviet Union to allow Jews to immigrate to Israel. This resource pack includes posters and photographs from rallies and demonstrations.
