The Hornstein M.A./Ed.M. Program In partnership with Brandeis University's Education Program invites applications from talented, motivated, young professionals seeking the knowledge and skills to lead in Jewish educational settings: camps, experiential educational programs, Hillels, synagogues, day schools, museums, federations, and more.

Students take Hornstein graduate courses on the history and current issues in the American and global Jewish communities, and courses in Education and Jewish Studies; engage in advanced professional internships; and participate in Hornstein travel seminars in Israel, New York City, Washington D.C., and international Jewish communities.

M.A./Ed.M. students graduate with:

  • a strong and lasting community of Hornstein students and alumni;
     
  • wide professional networks; 
     
  • unparalleled academic and professional training to lead the Jewish community in a broad range of organizational educational settings;
     
  • all grounded in the visionary Jewish, ethical, and social justice foundations that characterize the Hornstein and Education Programs and Brandeis University.

All accepted students receive generous tuition scholarships.
The M.A./Ed.M. program accepts up to five students per year.
