Summer 2009 Campus Fellows Seminar in Boston

The David Project, a non-profit Israel education organization, invites university undergraduate and graduate students from across the US to attend a four-day Israel advocacy and leadership seminar at Boston University during August, 2009. The Campus Fellows program provides students with the scholarship, strategies and skills which define effective Israel activism on campus.
The seminar enables students to understand the complexities of the Arab-Israeli conflict by promoting critical thinking, historical accuracy, moral decision-making and activism. Seminar participants strengthen the network of informed campus leaders who can confidently and courageously stand up to the ideological assault against Israel. Each seminar session provides fifty motivated students with the opportunity to meet, network and learn with other pro-Israel students in a friendly and exciting environment.
■ Communicate clearly about developing events in the Middle East
■ Think critically about issues presented in the media
■ Develop effective debating techniques
■ Gain the confidence and skills to lead grassroots efforts
Two sessions of the seminar will be held at Boston University this summer:
SESSION I:
SUN. AUG. 2 - THURS. AUG. 6, 2009
SESSION II:
SUN. AUG. 9 - THURS. AUG. 13, 2009
Cost and registration:
All fellows' expenses will be paid: Lodging, meals, & transportation.
Upon acceptance, participants will be required to pay a $100 non-refundable registration fee.
