For the fourth year, Canfei Nesharim is appreciating the importance of water through our annual Sukkot project, True Joy Through Water. Divrei Torah, program suggestions, stickers and Sukkah decorations are currently available on their website, and great more resources are coming soon.

On Sukkot, we celebrate water through the Simchat Beit Hashoeva (Celebration of the Water Drawing Ceremony) and we continue recognizing the value of water through tefilat geshem, the beginning of our prayers for rain. Our rabbis and ancestors understood that water is essential for life, and that we rely on Hashem to provide all our needs. This year, take the time on Sukkot and Shemini Atzeret to reflect on our natural resources and our dependence on Hashem's blessing of rain.

Join Canfei Nesharim in appreciating water and the connections between Torah, nature, and our responsibility to protect the environment.

On the Canfei Nesharim website you can find programming ideas and materials for the school, home, synagogue and youth group. You can also find ideas for organizing your community's Simchas Beit Hashoeva party.
