MOFET JTEC will again be conducting a special leadership seminar in Israel for leaders of Jewish communities in the Spanish speaking world. The will focus on Jewish leadership models throughout Jewish history to the present, on the analysis of the participants' management styles, and on designing ways to promote the participants' role as community leaders now and in the future. During the two week seminar, June 28 - July 13, 2011, the participants will study, tour the country, and meet prominent Israelis such as Government Ministers, Members of the Knesset, Ministry of Education officials, leaders of social organizations, and much more. The group will learn and deliberate about issues and topics that are of interest and concern to Jewish communities in the Diaspora.

 

The seminar, to be held between June 28 - July 13, 2011, will provide the following activities:
 

Conferences – presenting leadership models and their outcomes throughout Jewish history

Workshops – training and presenting study materials to foster Jewish identity

Meetings – personal encounters with Israeli leaders (and their models of leadership) from various sectors of Israeli society (politics, education, defense)

Study tours – walking in the footsteps of biblical leaders of the Mishnah and the Talmud, historical leaders, leaders of the pioneers in the early establishment of the State of Israel and commanders of the IDF
