Gateways recently launched a resource bank of activities for special needs students. Their goal is to share user-friendly resources that will be helpful and effective when working with any type of learner. Resources are organized by thematic units, such as holidays, and by type, such as file folder activities. A collection of resources for Passover and the Seder are now available on their website.
The Passover learning resources are divided into four categories:
- Versions of the Passover Story
- Visual Strategies for Passover
- Prayers and Songs with Visual Supports
- File Folder Activities
Gateways offers programs and services to children with special needs and educational challenges in Greater Boston's Jewish day schools, congregational and community supplemental schools and Jewish preschools, as well as Gateways’ own Sunday school, bar/bat mitzvah training class and teen youth group.
