The Third International MOFET Online Conference - Teacher Education in the Age of Globalization – Call for Proposals
The Third International Online Conference, 'Opening Gates in Teacher Education, 2011: Teacher Education in the Age of Globalization,' will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 25-26, 2011. This Conference continues the Mofet Institute's tradition of international online conferences devoted to teacher education and education in general. This conference offers educators and teacher educators in particular, two days during which they can hear well-known personalities in the field of teacher education and hold discussions around issues related to their profession.

Mikranet - Hebrew Bible Education Resource
Mikranet is a rich online Hebrew language resource for the teaching of Bible in Israeli State 'mamlachti' schools.Mikranet is developed by the Center for Educational Technology, Snunit and Gesher, three major independent educational organizations, with funding from the Avi Chai Foundation.

Ganeinu – For Leaders Dedicated to Early Jewish Childhood
The Union for Reform Judaism has just released the Spring, 2010 issue of Ganeinu, a publication for leaders dedicated to early Jewish childhood. In this issue of Ganeinu they explore renewing the purpose, working in collaborative teams and professional and volunteer, which are cutting across specific areas of expertise.

Masa Israel Invests in US-Israeli University Partnerships
Masa Israel announces the launch of a new capacity-building initiative to encourage study abroad and academic exchange in Israel. The program will provides $50,000 grants to U.S. universities wishing to develop and execute academic partnerships with institutions of higher learning in Israel. The hope is that by offering these grants to American universities, it will encourage study abroad in Israel by increasing the number of programs available to students through their home institutions. These partnerships will offer students the full support of their home institutions by helping them more easily meet prerequisites and by facilitating a seamless transfer of credits for their studies in Israel to their home university.

JESNA's Technology and Jewish Education Conference
On May 5, 2010 a one day conference entitled, 'Technology and Jewish Education: A Revolution in the Making' sponsored by The Berman Jewish Policy Archive at NYU Wagner and JESNA’s Lippman Kanfer Institute was held for Jewish educators, Jewish communal workers, and lay leaders all interested in educational technology. The presenters and participants spoke of what was being done in the field and what should be done in the future in order to further the use of technology in all aspects of Jewish education.

Anne Frank's Secret Annex Online
The Anne Frank House museum has launched an online virtual tour of the secret rooms in which the Frank family and other Jews lived. The tour shows the rooms, which have about 1 million visitors annually, in great detail. Teenager Anne Frank hid and wrote her diary in the secret annex of a building in Amsterdam during the Nazi occupation. Anne and the other eight residents of the secret rooms were arrested in August 1944 and sent to Nazi concentration camps. Only Anne's father, Otto Frank, survived.

Moreh L'Morim - Eilu V’Eilu: The Tradition of Sacred Argument in Jewish Education
The Siegal College, Cleveland, OH is devoting its summer institute to Eilu V’Eilu: The Tradition of Sacred Argument in Jewish Education. The institute to be held in Cleveland on August 8-11, 2010, will be led by the full range of the Siegal College Judaic and Education faculty as well as a set of national experts leading intensive tracks.
