MOFET JTEC Portal Newsletter

We are delighted to send you the latest issue of The MOFET JTEC Portal resource listing. 

The current bulletin contains research findings, educational resources, conference information, etc. selected from journals and other Jewish education publications. It contains a number of items relevant to the summer season such as educational conferences and in-services, student summer enrichment and thoughts about Jewish School graduates. 

Presently underway are two MOFET International Leadership Seminars in Israel for educators and community leaders, one in English and the other in Spanish. We are deeply involved in preparations for another English language Leadership Seminar to be held next month. We wish our Seminar participants an enriching and enjoyable experience on their unique Israel encounters!

Young Jewish Educators Invited to NewCAJE3 Annual Conference
For the third year, NewCAJE is offering a program track specifically for young professionals (YPs) in Jewish education, arts, and religious and lay leadership. Those who join the NewCAJE YP community will have access to a growing network of colleagues across the US and Canada with which to share ideas, commiserate, strategize, and celebrate. The Third Annual NewCAJE Conference, will take place on August 5-8, 2012 at the campus of Montclair State University, located in New Jersey, and an easy train ride from New York City.
Tomorrow’s Genius' New Virtual Summer School Program
Tomorrow’s Genius is proud to announce its new virtual summer school program. For the first time, credit level courses for both Judaic and secular studies subjects will be available to Jewish day school students across North America and Israel. The courses are open to all Jewish day school students for credit based or enrichment opportunities.

Over 450 Jewish Educators Attend the Third Jewish Futures Conference
The 2012 Jewish Futures Conference held on Monday, June 4, 2012 at Columbia University brought together over 450 passionate leaders, educators and visionaries from the Jewish community to discuss 'Community and the Cloud,' - how new technologies and ways of connecting are affecting Jewish life and learning. The event, produced by The Jewish Education Project and JESNA's Lippman Kanfer Institute, was the third and largest annual Jewish Futures Conference.
