More than 800 Russian-speaking Israelis between 20 and 40 years old, many with their children, gathered Dec. 11-13, 2014 for Limmud FSU’s Festival of the Sea of Galilee (Kinneret) at Kibbutz Ginosar. The event was held in collaboration with the Jordan Valley Regional Council, and with the support of the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, the Israeli Ministry of Absorption, the Jewish National Fund, and others.

The most recent Limmud FSU Festival for young Russian-speaking Jews took place in Odessa, Ukraine, at the beginning of November, 2012. More than 600 young adults from 14 countries, including Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Moldova, USA and Israel, participated. Additionally, Limmud FSU successfully collaborated with the European Jewish Union bringing young adults from Germany, France, Belgium, Britain and even Gibraltar, to Odessa.

More than 400 young Russian-speaking Jewish Americans gathered in force at The Hampton Synagogue in Westhampton Beach, NY on Aug. 9, 2009 for 'A Taste of Limmud: 150 Years of Shalom Aleichem', a unique day of education, community-building, networking and entertainment designed to enhance and strengthen Jewish identity, involvement and community leadership.
