The Jewish Futures Conference brings together visionary thinkers, passionate individuals, and inspiring presentations in a conference designed to shift the horizon of our thinking in Jewish education. The Jewish Futures Conference provides a space to imagine, learn and engage in purposeful and courageous conversation about the future of Jewish community and education and how it can thrive in today's and tomorrow's world.

 

In this, the fourth year of the Jewish Futures Conference, three sessions of the conference will be held:

Legacy vs Innovation: A False Dichotomy?

November 12th, 2012 - Baltimore, MD - at the Jewish Federations of North America's General Assembly, 3:45pm-5:00pm

(All attendees of the GA are welcome at the Jewish Futures session.)

What can we learn when so-called legacy organizations and up-start entrepreneurs come into conversation? This session will not only bridge the divide between young and old organizations, but will generate strategies moving forward that enable legacies and start-ups to co-exist and thrive together. Session Presenters include:

The Role of Bar and Bat Mitzvah in America Today
