G-dcast's Psalm Project If you're a young Jewish artist - a singer, song-writer, musician, rapper, spoken word poet, writer, comedian, story teller or anyone else with an incredibly strong voice, this is aimed at you, regardless of your current knowledge of the Psalms. We're looking for you to submit a one and half to two minute audio entry of your interpretation of one of the Psalms. If you're picked, on top of a cash prize, you'll get to see your film animated! While the winning entries will be chosen from emerging artists aged 21 to 30, artists of all ages are encouraged to share their interpretations regardless of eligibility for the prizes.

Awards

  • Grand Prize: $1000
  • Three Runners Up: $300 each
  • We will turn your poem into an animated short film!

Psalms are a connection to poets' and artists' perspectives from thousands of years ago. The messages are timeless - ranging from divine praise to realizing your own potential to admitting your mistakes.

Our question to you is this: How do the psalms resonate today?
