Source: The Sixth International Conference on Teacher Education
At the beginning of this month, the 6th MOFET International Conference on Teacher Education, titled "Changing Reality through Education", was held in Israel. This was the sixth in a series of conferences held once every few years under the auspices and with the financial support of the Department of Teacher Education in the Israeli Ministry of Education.
Each conference is devised, organized, and staged via a partnership between The MOFET Institute and one of the colleges of education in Israel. This year, the conference was led by The MOFET Institute and The David Yellin Academic College of Education, which is celebrating its centenary.

At the conference, Dr. Sara Ziv, Head of MOFET Institute's International Channel, was granted an award for her life-work in teacher education.
