Would you like to see an increased love of Jewish Studies and Rabbinic Education in your classrooms or work environments? Are you thinking about experimenting with pedagogies that will stay true to our tradition even as they match the needs of our 21st Century lives? Are you ready to immerse yourself in a Beit Midrash setting?

Mechon Hadar is holding a four-day Summer Institute on June 21-25, 2015 (Sunday afternoon through Thursday evening) which uses Hadar’s signature approach to Beit Midrash learning. This summer we will focus on broad themes from the Jewish Holidays, including forgiveness, change, holiness, authority, and renewal. Please note this is open to any educator or Jewish professional in the field and not strictly for people affiliated Mechon Hadar or the Schechter Network.

Highlights include:

  • Bring hevruta learning to your classroom through the Pedagogy of Partnership with Orit Kent and Allison Cook.

  • Learn Rabbinic texts with Mechon Hadar's core faculty in a lively Beit Midrash setting.

  • Build relationships with fellow educators who share the desire to increase the love of Jewish studies and Rabbinics education in their classrooms and schools.

See the Summer Institute web page  for more information and registration.
