A few weeks ago, the social media micro-blogging tool, Twitter, announced a new feature designed to make it easier for users to group the people they follow by organizing them into lists, also making it much easier for people using Twitter to locate people of similar interests by following the lists created by their friends and mentors. Jacob Richman created a new hotsites page which features 90 Jewish and Israeli Twitter lists that can be reviewed and followed.
Among the lists formed by Jewish Twitterers are those dealing with Jewish education, organizations, startups, bloggers, artists and musicians, writers, professionals, rabbis and cantors and many more.
