The Foundation for Jewish Camp (FJC), in partnership with organizations across North America, offers incentive grants about —ranging from $700 to $1000—to first-time overnight Jewish campers. Grants are awarded to campers who will attend a nonprofit Jewish overnight camp. Last summer, this program helped more than 10,000 new campers enjoy Jewish overnight camps.

Use the Find a Camp camps search engine to locate the most fitting camp from over 155 camps across North America to choose from. Grant amounts and eligibility one-happy-camper/eligibility are determined by local sponsoring organization in partnership with the Foundation for Jewish Camp. Some programs even offer grants for returning campers.

The One Happy Camper Program was created with the goal of inspiring new campers to try Jewish overnight camp. The philanthropists behind this program understand that it’s difficult to reach Jews that find themselves on the margins or even outside of Jewish life. Thus, One Happy Camper incentives generally apply to families whose children do not attend Jewish day school or yeshiva.
