We are pleased to invite you to take part in an innovative online course for educators that are interested in developing School Twinning programs in their classrooms. You will learn about developing School Twinning connections in the Jewish World using innovative pedagogical and online tools that apply to the program. The course is in English and is suitable for educators worldwide that are interested in developing a School Twinning program and is also a wonderful program to use in the classroom to inspire students to improve their English/Hebrew, through communicating with students worldwide. The course opens on December 6, 2015 and includes ten units. A new unit is introduced approximately every two weeks, and the participants are free to study and complete tasks at a time that best suits each participant.

We will learn about different aspects of worldwide Jewish Identity, educational standards for the project, cultural understandings, easily used online tools to enhance the students’ experience and more. Three online classes will be held throughout the course for those able to attend online and these classes will be recorded for those who are not able to attend online due to time differences.

The course is fully subsidized by the Israeli Ministry of Education for all participants, in Israel and abroad.

Total number of academic hours for the course: 30

Educators in Israel will be awarded a full “gmul” including grade for participation in the course.

All participants who complete the course will receive a diploma from The Israeli Ministry of Education in conjunction with The Jewish Agency for Israel.

You can register for the course here.
