ISRAEL21c creates, aggregates and broadly disseminates high-quality information to the American public about the Israel that exists beyond the pervasive imagery of conflict that characterizes so much of western media reporting. Its goal is to strengthen the partnership between the United States and Israel, and between Americans and Israelis.
The reality of daily life in Israel isn't only politics and violence: it is commerce and research; art and culture; music and dance; community and family. Much of the world and the media views Israel through conflict-focused lenses. ISRAEL21c spotlights Israelis sharing their thoughts and experiences, their observations and their hopes for the future.
The newly launched website, based on state of the art web2.0 technology, is the most comprehensive, engaging and usable website ever created about Israel in the English language. The website was developed with the help of a grant from the the Solelim Fund of UJA-Federation of New York.
