Slingshot, A Resource Guide to Jewish Innovation, is an annual compilation of the 50 most inspiring and innovative organizations, projects, and programs in the North American Jewish community today. First published in 2005, and now in its third edition, Slingshot continues to highlight those organizations in Jewish life with particular resonance among the next generation.

21/64, a non-profit consulting division of the Andrea and Charles Bronfman Philanthropies , compiles and publishes Slingshot annually. The Jewish organizations, projects and programs in North America included in Slingshot are chosen from a listing of nominated groups by a professional panel of experts utilizing four criteria:

  • Innovation
  • Impact
  • Strong Leadership
  • Organizational Effectiveness

The three published volumes, available online in pdf format, provide organizational information for each of the chosen groups.

The groups appearing in Slingshot represent a cross-section of innovative attempts to engage young and largely unaffiliated Jews looking for identity, community and meaning in North America.
