The Summit on Jewish Teens is an exclusive gathering of national and local leaders from across the Jewish world who care about Jewish education and engagement for the teen audience. This 24-hour event to be held on February 11-12, 2016 at Inner Harbor Baltimore, MD will offer unique opportunities for philanthropists, lay leaders, foundation and federation professionals, professional leaders of Jewish organizations, researchers, educators and teens to network, to learn from another, and to hear about the latest developments in the field.
Important topics of conversation—with a focus on shared communal priorities—will include teen leadership development, diversity and inclusion, “tikkun olam,” teen entrepreneurship, teens and tech, and Israel, along with other teen engagement and education areas. David Brooks, NY Times Commentator and author, will be special guest presenter.
As part of the program, Summit participants will meet with teen leaders from all of the major Jewish youth movements and experience opening ceremonies of BBYO’s International Convention—a gathering of 2,400 Jewish teens from around the world.
