This year Herzog College is expanding its Yemei Iyun (July 15-19, 2018) offerings, with an additional pedagogy day in English aimed at teachers in English speaking countries, together with classes in French and Spanish.
This special programming includes:
July 15 - (In Hebrew) Festive opening of Herzog College's Yemei Iyun B’Tanakh, including a Pedagogy Day aimed at Tanakh teachers in Israeli religious public schools and learning with President Ruvy Rivlin who will be launching the second cycle of 929 study.
July 16 - English language Pedagogy Day, focusing on Innovation and Technology with presentations from Herzog’s own HaTanakh.com, Sefaria.org, AlHaTorah.org, AlefBeta and more.
July 17 - A choice of two English language "Tanakh in Hand" field trips
July 18-19 - A full schedule of English language classes as part of the Yemei Iyun B'Tanakh with classes focusing on: Sefer Bereishit, Sefer Bemidbar, Nevi’im U’Ketuvim and Parshanut/Peshat and Drash. Classes in pedagogy and Tanakh teaching in French and Spanish.
