The 15th Annual Teva Seminar, sponsored by the Jewish National Fund, will take place from June 1-4, 2009 in Cold Spring, NY. Torah scholars, farmers, educators, students and scientists will engage in environmental sustainability, camping, gardening and other topics of Jewish Environmentalism. Participants will engage in a dialogue about the connection between God, earth, and humanity, gaining the skills to bring it to various educational settings.

 

Four curricular tracks are offered at the seminar:

 

  • Ethics and Texts
  • Congregational Education
  • Camp and Wilderness
  • Organic Agriculture and Educational Gardening.

    New at this year's seminar are a Teva/JNF certification of Jewish environmental educators and lessons for connecting to Israel though the natural world.
