About 3500 teachers and others from Israel and abroad will gather in Gush Etzion, Israel to participate in the intensive four day annual biblical studies conference sponsored by the Herzog College of Yeshivat Har Etzion for Higher Learning. During the four days of the conference participants will choose to participate in one of seven parallel lectures in five separate time slots (over 140 lectures).
The lectures will cover all books of the Bible, its commentaries, realia, literary structure and philosophical and existential meaning. Many of the lectures will deal with didactics of Bible study.
For the first time, the annual conference will include two days of sessions in English.
An additional day of the conference will offer nine different field trips to various Biblical locations.
The annual conference is the one of the noteworthy achievements of the Center for Biblical Instruction of the Herzog College which has contributed to a revolution in Biblical study in Israeli Religious Government schools over the last two decades.
