Since 2004, The MOFET Institute has been providing an online Hebrew language education portal, MOFET MASA, for the benefit of the Hebrew speaking education community. The portal aims to improve the flow of global and Israeli pedagogical information among the MOFET users, teacher educators, pedagogy instructors, libraries and information centers in teacher colleges, universities and other research and practice institutions.

Searching for the Study of Israel: A Report on the Teaching of Israel on U.S. College Campuses 2008-09
An update of a 2006 report, Searching for the Study of Israel examines the scope of academic courses being taught about Israel on more than 300 leading American college and university campuses and finds that the state of education about Israel has improved since the original study. A comparison of the 246 institutions included in both studies shows a 69% growth in courses that focus specifically on Israel over the three-year period.

The Bibliographic Project is a comprehensive online database accessible through Israel's university library network (ALEPH), and printed bibliographies. It lists books, dissertations, master's theses, and articles from periodicals and collections published throughout the world on the subject of anti-Semitism throughout the centuries, from the ancient period to the present. The database is cumulative and ongoing, now containing more than 50,000 items. Publications from 1984 onwards are accompanied by an English abstract.

A few weeks ago, the social media micro-blogging tool, Twitter, announced a new feature designed to make it easier for users to group the people they follow by organizing them into lists, also making it much easier for people using Twitter to locate people of similar interests by following the lists created by their friends and mentors. Jacob Richman created a new hotsites page which features 90 Jewish and Israeli Twitter lists that can be reviewed and followed.

A new online tool is being developed by Jeffery Spitzer, Chair of Rabbinic Literature at Gann Academy. The literacy tool is a listing of basic terms and ideas that Jewish day schools such as Gann Academy would want their incoming 9th graders to be familiar with. The tool can be used in either flashcard definition, or full definition. Searchable in Hebrew or English, it also includes links for further study.

The listing contains links to articles, lesson plans, clipart, videos, Jewish laws and customs, games, recipes and various other resources to aid learning about Rosh Hashana.
