The CIE Teen Israel Leadership Institute program to be held on December 6-8, 2019, offered by the Atlanta based Center for Israel Education in partnership with the Emory University Institute for the Study for Modern Israel, Jewish Teen Education and Engagement Network (JTEEN), JumpSpark, and Emory Hillel will enhance Israel knowledge among Jewish teens and provide them with valuable skills for sharing that knowledge with others. The program is for all students who are in grades 10 – 12.

For many Jewish families in Russia, PJ Library is the only regular Jewish experience they have for their children. Though books delivered directly to homes throughout Russia, incorporating PJ Library into education and community programming has been instrumental to the program’s success. From classroom learning to workshops and activities, hundreds of Jewish teachers and educators across Russia are using PJ Library books to engage children.

The 7th Annual Hebrew Conference of North America is a continuation of a tradition initiated by the World Zionist Organization and is done in cooperation with the Council for Hebrew Language and Culture in North America and the North American Association of Hebrew Teachers (NAHeT). The Hebrew Conference literally celebrates the importance of Hebrew as a language, as a culture and as a key to identity. During these two days, November 17-18, 2019, in Newark NJ, there will be lectures, panels, and workshops dealing with Hebrew and the teaching of the language in all its aspects, ideology and methodology, inspirational sessions, practical tools and more. The theme of this year's conference is - Hebrew – The Time is Now! and will deal with the state of Hebrew instruction in North America, formulating ways of coping with the current challenges, and expanding the professional knowledge of Hebrew teachers - both in theory and in practice.

This intensive week (June 23-27, 2019) of inspiring personal and professional learning includes Jewish text learning, led by Hadar faculty, in a lively beit midrash setting and offers two tracks to choose from for enhancing Jewish learning in the Day School classroom. The first is an in-depth exploration of the Pedagogy of Partnership with Dr. Orit Kent and Allison Cook. To increase the likelihood of school-wide change and ultimately reach a greater number of teachers, PCJE will hold a Tefilah Education Conference for Day School Administrators at the Pearlstone Retreat Center in Reisterstown, MD from June 24-28, 2019. PCJE will host a maximum of 15 school administrators and/or key tefilah leaders best able and empowered to lead the tefilah education change process in their schools.
