eCamp – The international technology summer camp, to take place both in Israel and the US this summer, is entering its second season. eCamp, a pluralistic Jewish community, is designed to bring enterprising young people aged 8-18 from around the world together for a unique interactive Israeli – Jewish hi-tech experience. eCamp is designed to encourage campers to express their creativity and discover their connections with the Jewish world and Israel.
eCamp offers a variety of interesting workshops such as game designing, robotics, programming, digital music, digital video and more. The campers are exposed to the Israeli hi-tech world and Israeli start-up entrepreneurs, experiencing new technological innovations firsthand.
The two week camp sessions are held both on Israeli and US campuses.
The Israeli campus is located in a picturesque nature reserve at the residential village of Aloney Yitzchak, 28 miles (45 km) from Tel Aviv.
The US park-like campus is located at The American Hebrew Academy in Greensboro, North Carolina.
eCamp Israel is operated under the umbrella of Oranim Educational Initiatives and is encouraged by the Israel Minister in charge of Diaspora Affairs.
