SciTech is a well established science and technology research camp organized and hosted each summer by the Center for Pre-University Education at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. The 3 week program for gifted high school students combines scientific research with a program of cultural and social activities.

This program is intended for eleventh and twelfth grade high school students from around the world who have demonstrated an exceptional interest and ability in science and technology. This program brings together outstanding students from North and South America, Europe, Asia, Israel and elsewhere.

Projects are conducted in the Technion's Faculties of Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Medicine and Architecture, and make use of world class research facilities. Students work individually or in small teams on a project of their choice, supervised by members of the Technion's research staff.

Afternoons and evenings are devoted to social and cultural activities. The social program includes tours, lectures, movies, sports and other cultural activities. The camp provides opportunities to discover the multifaceted culture and history of Israel.

The deadline for the receipt of applications to participate in SciTech 2009 is March 30, 2009
