A group of 75 educators from the tri-state area gathered at Yavneh Academy in Paramus, NJ on Sunday, April 21, 2013 for the first annual JEdCamp in New Jersey. 'JEDCamp' is short for Jewish education Camp, an innovative 'unconference' where participants gather in a vendor free environment and 'create' workshops and then lead them.

Sephardi Voices, is an audio-visual history project currently under way to document and archive the testimonies of Jews displaced from North Africa and the Middle East in the 20th century. With branches in Los Angeles, Miami, London, Paris, Jerusalem, and New York, Sephardi Voices has already collected 250 testimonies and is aiming to gather 5,000 in the next five years.

Taking advantage of Google's release of Jerusalem Street Views in April, 2012, the Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) launched a website, Jerusalem Memories, to allow collecting and sharing personal memories and images of Jerusalem. The site now contains numerous personal memories of Jerusalem inspired by the Google Street View images.

Jerusalem Ed Tech Solutions (JETS) has opened registration for the second cohort of its online course for teachers, '21st Century Instruction: Beyond the Classroom to the Global Community'. The course offered on April 9 - June 18, 2013, is designed to familiarize teachers with online tools, skills, and methodologies that can empower them to teach online or to utilize online tools to maximize learning in their classrooms.

A new branch of G-dcast, G-dcast Entertainment, has just released a new 'edutainment' game for Apple Mobile devices – 'Leviticus!'. While playing the fast-moving brightly illustrated game, the players learn much of the intricate Biblical Jewish law system for offering sacrifices in the Temple. 'Leviticus!' was made with young adults in mind and the plan is to market the new game to college-age students through Hillel and Moishe Houses.
