This webinar, to be held on October 10, 2012, 7 PM Israel Time, 1 PM EST, will focus on how to utilize various technologies for teaching and learning. The technology tools featured will include Smart Boards and similar interactive whiteboards for dynamic lessons, Flipped Classroom videos for homework assignments, Google Earth for virtual field trips, Google Docs to promote cooperative learning, Google Forms for online student quizzes, real-time in-class student polling using cell phones, ideas for technology-enhanced student projects, and much more.

Designed for educators working with children (infant through Grade 2) in Jewish preschools, day schools, supplementary schools and other educational settings, the third annual Early Childhood Jewish Education conference at Hebrew College, Newton, MA, on Oct. 29-30, 2012, will explore new and exciting ways to teach and encourage curiosity and creativity in children through science, technology, engineering, math and much more.

For the 26th consecutive year, The Bronfman Youth Fellowships in Israel has selected a group of 26 high school students to be Bronfman Fellows. The Bronfman Fellows participate in an intensive five-week program of study, travel and extensive programming in Israel designed to develop future community leaders committed to Jewish unity.

For the third year, NewCAJE is offering a program track specifically for young professionals (YPs) in Jewish education, arts, and religious and lay leadership. Those who join the NewCAJE YP community will have access to a growing network of colleagues across the US and Canada with which to share ideas, commiserate, strategize, and celebrate. The Third Annual NewCAJE Conference, will take place on August 5-8, 2012 at the campus of Montclair State University, located in New Jersey, and an easy train ride from New York City.
