AVI CHAI Foundation to Sponsor Day School Leaders at the Harvard Principals’ Center Summer Institute

New JTS Continuing Education Initiative for Rabbis Launches at the 2012 RA Convention

The Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) will offer a new continuing education initiative for rabbis, in partnership with the Rabbinical Assembly (RA), as part of the 2012 Rabbinical Assembly Convention. JTS will present a special convention track titled Making Torah Relevant to Gen Next: You’re the App for That! This program will feature a multidisciplinary approach whose goal is to connect Generation Xers and Millennials with synagogues.

Innovators Take the Lead at World ORT’s Wingate Seminar

Between January 9-13, 2012, World ORT held its thirteenth Wingate Seminar at ORT House, London. There it brought together the teachers responsible for introducing and developing the technology provided to their schools in Israel through World ORT's Kadima Mada programme for their first overseas group training event. The 25 Innovation Leaders from Israel were joined by 12 teachers from the USA, Mexico, Argentina, Ukraine, Russia and South Africa for an intensive five days of lectures, workshops and outings designed not to provide answers but to broaden horizons.

Great Jewish Books High School Residency

During a week-long residency at the Yiddish Book Center on the campus of Hampshire College, eighteen high school juniors and seniors from across the country will study with some of the nation’s most respected literary scholars, meet prominent contemporary authors, and connect with other teens from across the country. The Steiner Yiddish Language Summer Program

Education for Sustainability: Bridging Cultural, Social and Political Gaps - MOFET Israel Seminar
