The Brandeis secondary MAT program prepares Bible teachers for Jewish day schools, grades 7-12. In this program, students further their content knowledge by taking courses in Brandeis’ Near Eastern and Judaic Studies Department. Students concurrently learn about pedagogy and practice with Brandeis professors and master teachers at Gann Academy – New Jewish High School of Greater Boston and other local Jewish day middle and high schools.

The Elementary MAT Day School Leadership through Teaching (DELET) Program is a degree program that opens a door to day school teaching. DeLeT prepares recent college graduates and career changers to teach in the elementary grades in Jewish day schools. DeLeT is the Jewish Day School concentration of Brandeis University's Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree program. Students in the Elementary MAT (DeLeT) program earn a Master of Arts in Teaching in elementary education, and are eligible for initial teaching licensure (grades 1 - 6) from the State of Massachusetts.

Starting January 2010, the Hebrew University , in collaboration with eTeacher, has begun offering its very first accredited online Biblical languages courses to overseas students. The Biblical Hebrew online program, facilitated by eTeacher's Biblical Hebrew campus is now part of the Hebrew university accredited courses and is fully recognized by the faculty of humanities. In accordance with the University's academic requirements the program includes obligatory attendance, paper submissions and examinations and will award students 3 credit points.

Committed to the creation of a new generation of scholars in Jewish education, the Jim Joseph Foundation has announced a $12 million grant, awarded to Stanford University’s School of Education (SUSE) to create a doctoral Concentration in Education and Jewish Studies. A key component of the new concentration is the establishment of an endowed Jim Joseph Professorship in Education and Jewish Studies. The gift is the largest in the history of Stanford’s School of Education.

The Post- Baccalaureate Certificate in Jewish Education is a 20-unit graduate program that provides students with the knowledge and tools to become effective Jewish educators. By integrating classical and contemporary Jewish studies with pedagogy, the certificate in Jewish Education program will prepare its students to embark on careers as educators in a formal or informal Jewish educational setting. The William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education is offering an EdD in Jewish Education. The doctoral program is designed to prepare academics and senior professionals for the growing educational needs of North American Jewish communities. The program offers two areas of concentration: (1) teaching and learning; and (2) leadership and administration. In so doing, it prepares students for the practical work in administration, supervision, curriculum development, and educational research, and for academic careers in the field of Jewish education.
