The Center for Information on Israeli Society, Subcultures and Lifestyles has made available an online, dynamic, multimedia guide as a gateway to user-friendly information on the main subcultures and lifestyles in present-day Israeli society. It aims to serve as an updated source of information and a pedagogical tool for individuals, businesses, and public institutions.

Yeshivot Bnei Akiva has announced the launching of a low-cost, high-quality educational alternative to modern Orthodox day schools: a 3-year religious Zionist high school program in Israel for tenth through twelfth grade students from Diaspora communities. The program will be subsidized by the Ministry of Education Naale Program, and tuition will be approximately half of the average tuition for yeshiva high school education in the U.S., with scholarship assistance available for needy families.

Over the past few months, several educators involved in One-Year Israel Programs that educate students from the Diaspora have approached members of the ATID faculty to raise issues about the world of yeshivot and seminaries. After asking those educators to put pen to paper and articulate their concerns, ATID received two short essays, one on a proclaimed decline in the rigor of the education and the other on the deplorable employment conditions of staff.
