Jessica Jacobs recently returned from Israel where she was privileged to be accompanying her students on The Jewish Federation’s Tel Aviv-Los Angeles-Vilnius School Twinning program. A total of thirty 8th grade students from Kehillat Israel Religious School in Pacific Palisades, Shalom Aleichem School in Vilnius, Lithuania and Shevach Mofet School in Tel Aviv, traveled, studied and came together for 10 amazing days.

The Shalom Hartman Institute’s 2013 Community Leadership Program Summer Retreat (CLP), which draws more than 100 Jewish community leaders from North America to the Institute's Jerusalem campus every summer, is scheduled to be held June 26-July 3, 2013. The theme for 2013 will be 'People of the Body or People of the Book: Embodied Jewish Ethics.' This study retreat will explore the relationship between Judaism and the human body.

Every year, twenty-six outstanding North American teenagers are selected for The Bronfman Youth Fellowships in Israel, which begins with a five week, expenses-paid summer in Israel. In their five weeks, the Fellows encounter the land and people of Israel, study Judaism and major issues in contemporary Jewish life, and learn about themselves and each other. Applications for the 2013 Fellowship are now available and must be submitted by January 7, 2013.

The Men's Post High School Yeshivot in Israel are pleased to announce the launching of a Joint Online Application. At present there are 18 yeshivot participating in the application.
